20 November 2019


This week, we are finalizing our design. We begin to figure out what components we need to run the system. We have added a fuse to make sure the current doesn't exceed a certain value. Also, we figure out how a relay works and uses them to control switching between each energy storage device. We will use a current sensor as an input to control the switching. Safety components such as diode and NPN transistor is also implemented.

We completed our battery calculation and decided to create a 3 series 2 parallel battery pack. The pack will have a capacity of 5Ah.  We also purchased some components and will continue to do so as the week progresses. Lastly, we presented our project this week and the presentation is attached below.
